Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!
YES! I managed to get to where I needed to be on time to watch the Marvel Universe block!
I won’t be able to liveblog, but I will be tweeting the occasional reaction :)
Why are people bitching about Janet and Sue (“the women”) being kidnapped?
- Janet happened to be with Sue when the doombots attacked, so she was also captured.
- Doom even said, “Ms. Van Dyne…you are nothing to Doom,” because he only wanted Sue.
- And since Sue and Janet are good friends and were catching up before the attack, Janet was also dragged along.
- Lastly, the fact that they were captured doesn’t make them any less than what they are. They are brilliant and strong women, who can most certainly protect themselves, but given the circumstances they needed help from their fellow team members.
- So, please. Save me the whole, “women being kidnapped and being saved by men story line is old” crap because there was more involved (given the cliffhanger) and plus, the first episode was flawless.
